What size is each Willy?
Willy comes in 3 sizes
Mini – H10cm x W2cm x D3cm 25g
Large – H16cm x W3cm x D4cm 80g
Extra Large – H:30.5cm X W:3cm X D:8cm 139g
What postage service do you use and how long does it take to reach me?
We use Royal Mail 2nd class post. This service takes on average 2-3 working days. We are not responsible for any delay or loss caused by Royal Mail.
Can I get my Willy quicker?
Yes. Choose express postage option and we will send Willy Royal Mail 1st class post
Can you ship internationally?
Yes but there will be an increased postage cost. Please contact us to let us know your requirements
What does Willy do?
As well as being a fun friend for your plants, Willy is a water sensor. He turns a darker shade when the plant is well watered and he goes pale when he and your plant soil dry out. If Willy is pale, your plant needs watering
How do I use Willy?
Willy is made from a type of clay called terracotta. This is a porous material meaning it has small gaps between the particles which can hold water. Just like a sponge, water is sucked into the spaces within the terracotta causing it to go darker when wet
Can I use more than one Willy in a pot?
Yes! You can use as many as you want and can fit in. They can all be the same size or a mixture of sizes. Willy will not do any damage to your plants
Does the size of the pot matter?
Yes and no – If you want Willy to simply be a friend to your plant, you can use what size you want. If you want Willy to work as a water sensor you should use a size Willy that corresponds to the size of your pot. So a large pot, say 30cm wide, will need an extra large Willy. This is because a mini Willy will not go into the soil deep enough to reach the moisture level in the soil
Are there any plants willy can’t be used for?
Not that we are aware of
Can I use Willy outside?
Yes you can! Willy does not like to be cold so we suggest you bring him indoors in the winter
Can Willy be gift wrapped?
Yes. Please select gift wrap option when you add your willy to the shopping cart. Willy will be in a box and wrapped in nice paper with a bow and gift tag.
Is Willy frost proof?
No. There is chance he will break if he gets cold so we suggest you bring him indoors in the winter
